If you are using 82962 that code is for CBG's. If you use 82947 that is for Blood Glucose (from the vein requiring a venipunture). The 82962 is also used in medical settings under waived or clea labs and is a very accurate, rapid way for nurses to initiate sliding scale insulin dosing.
